A Phone Call of Reconciliation
Setting the Stage
Inspired by the Christmas season and its resonant symbolism of reconciliation and the putting together of broken things, we set out to produce a short film about that initial step in reconciling with an old friend.
The Process
Following the initial steps of location scouting and camera tests, we were able to form and execute a half-day shoot with natural lighting and a team of one director/cinematographer and one actor.

The Result
Having recorded in a dense form of C-Log footage, we were able to grade and edit the footage with flexibility and meticulous detail. We’re left with a clean filmic look that shows the depth of opportunity that’s achievable even with a small crew and timeframe.
